If missing a day of work breaks the bank you fucked up long ago.
How fucking hard is it to make a budget and stick to it?
Wants vs needs, people.
It’s not even just wants vs needs, it goes even further than that. People will make minimum wage or even slightly higher and feel like they can justify a smart phone. Meanwhile, walmart sells flip phones for less than $10 and has unlimited talk and text for 0.68 $/mo. This is just one example of how to save money. Honestly the vast majority of people are not smart at all when it comes to financial responsibility.

Remember when “Home Ec” class actually taught budgeting? Life was good.
I actually had a marketing class in high school that taught budgeting, how to write checks, stock market, etc. Like it isn’t hard to live below one’s means.
Perhaps everyone wouldn’t be getting sick so often if you all stopped being fucking thots.
Going out on a limb, I honestly feel like there are some bad genetics out there, perhaps those who have died were meant to expire from it. I can count the times I might have had the flu on one hand. A few days ago some stupid twat said I was a selfish asshole for not getting the vaccine????? Why get it? There’s no need if you’re healthy. There are definitely people out there creating spawn who shouldn’t. Sometimes this world is survival of the fittest.

listen, we should just let the rich hunt the poor for sport. it would thin out their ranks by culling the weak, sick, and elderly, ultimately leading to a more robust and healthy lower class.
People should put their ages in their abouts, so I know how much to judge them when they write stupid ish like this.

Pretty fucking hard when you’re literally being paid the lowest that your employer can get away with paying you and they’re limiting your hours so that they don’t have to pay you benefits.
Pretty fucking hard when missing a single day of work can cut your income by 10 to 20% for the pay period.
Also.. that $10 flip phone won’t do internet, and basically the premise here seems to be that minimum wage workers don’t need internet access, despite the fact that most places require you to have internet access to even apply for the job these days.
The cheap phones with basic plans won’t save you that much compared to how much not having ready access to Internet and the ability to text easily will hurt you. The pricetag for an iPhone feels really heavy, but you can get a payment plan for an older model and that’s not going to be anywhere near what missing a single day of work will do to someone making minimum wage.
I don’t know why people always go to cell phones? It’s really easy to make them reasonable without going to the cheapest possible option. Not to mention family plans are a thing…
Also, getting the flu doesn’t take you out of work for a day. Sometimes you can be sick for WEEKS.
