im gonna be honest i know this is “men being terrible at writing the female perspective” but i am so amused by the mental image of this guy just BANGING AROUND the kitchen holding his wine aloft so the FUCKING FLAMES OUT OF HIS FRYING PAN dont catch the wine on fire, and this woman just staring at him in horrified fascination from the doorway to the dining room.
he smiles at her. “dinner will be ready in just a moment, honey”
she does not respond. the contents of another pot catch on fire. the stove is being fed by cookbooks. whats happening? she doesnt know.
