A note to any followers looking for a job:
I’ve been applying to jobs and I came across this one that looks really interesting. I don’t have any article writing experience at this time, so I don’t qualify. BUT I thought some of you might like to take a look because it looks like a really cool job!

Here’s the job info:
Daily Progressive is currently hiring 20 part-time Contributing Writer positions.
We’re looking for progressive writers with strong anti-oppression analysis, experience with online writing, a well-developed writing voice, and good content expertise in one or more of our focus areas. Ideally, applicants should be able to write from the perspective of the communities or identities being affected by the issue area being addressed.

Each Contributing Writer is expected to complete at least 2 articles each month, but with approval can submit up to 12 articles a month. Articles should generally be between 1,200-2,500 words in length.
Contributing Writers will be paid $60 per article published. Some articles are eligible for bonuses or a higher rate. (As a side note, we’re operating on a shoe-string start-up budget right now and are committed to raising the rate we pay for articles as soon as it becomes financially feasible.)
If you aren’t able to commit to completing 2 articles per month for publication, you can still submit articles for consideration as a Guest Writer.
The full site is launching in Fall 2016. We’ll have an audience of around a million readers within the first few months, so your articles will get excellent exposure even early on.
All positions work remotely so applicants can be located anywhere.
