There’s a fic on fanfiction(.)net that I’ve kept tabs on for years to see if it’s been updated or not. While I’m no longer even in the fandom it’s written for, it just has one of the greatest storylines I’ve ever read. Last time it was updated was 2011.

The other day, I decided to reread the entire thing and leave a very in-depth review of what I thought of each chapter. I also mentioned how I started reading it when I was 13 and am now 21, but always came back to see if it was ever finished because I loved it so dearly.

Today, said author sent me a private message saying that her analytics showed that the story was still getting views even after all these years, but no one ever bothered to leave reviews other than “update soon!!!”, so she never felt motivated enough to finish it. She said that me reviewing every single chapter with lengthy paragraphs made her cry and meant the world to her. She also mentioned that she felt encouraged to write the two remaining chapters needed to complete the story and that she would send me a message the night before she updates the fic.

I’m literally sobbing. I’m so excited :’)

Please always remember to leave a review when reading fanfiction!!! It means a lot to a writer.

and there’s also chinese latines, like Harry Shum, Jr. yeah, thay guy from glee and the shadowhunters (the netflix show). i don’t know if he self identifies as latino, but he was born in Costa Rica and lived there for six years, so that makes him latino by definition.

in fact, there’s presence of many asian racial / ethnic groups, but they’re not very common in the media. that’s why i’m not including any pictures. but they’re here and we love them.

and let’s not even talk about the mixing going on with all of the above because this post could go on for years

so bottom line: 

latinoamérica is a big beautiful

melting pot of everything

latine is not a skin color, it’s an ethnicity

there’s no such thing as “looking latine”. all latines are different

and it is possible that not every latine self identifies as poc

So Stormy Daniels, Aka: The Ex-Pornstar who was paid to sleep with Donald Trump in a case of Adultery literally no one was surprised by, released an Interview talking about the experience. And one of the things she mentioned was that he was watching Shark Week and was obsessed with it in the most Trump way ever. I’ll post a little exert cuz from that Interview because it contains more gold than the entirety of 45′s tacky as fuck apartment:

“The strangest thing about that night — this was the best thing ever. You could see the television from the little dining room table and he was watching Shark Week and he was watching a special about the U.S.S. something and it sank and it was like the worst shark attack in history. And because every intelligent person in the world has firmly taken the stance of “If I want to be able to look myself in the mirror tomorrow, I will do the opposite of everything Donald Trump does”, Everyone started donating to Shark Charities in an amazing example of collective beneficial pettiness. I’m thinking there’s a marine biologist out there right now somewhere like “Listen if we can just get him to say he hates Sharks on live TV we could repopulate the entire fucking ocean by 2019.”

Zuko still spoke out at the meeting, he still refused to fight his father in the Agni Kai.

Zuko was banished, and in his search to find the Avatar, earth bends.

Okay but consider:

The lindorm is a creature from Nordic folklore, which has the stupidest name possible. Lind means snake and orm means snake, so it’s called snakesnake. Guess what it looks like.

They tended to curl around everything from treasures, towers or towns guarding whatever they considered valuable inside. If they were just a regular monster a knight or heroic man was needed to defeat it.

BUT sometimes it was a prince who had been cursed, and then a young woman willing to marry it was needed. On their wedding night when the lindorm asked her to remove her dress she’d ask it to shed it’s skin, and when the soft new skin was exposed she’d have to give it a good hard whipping, and when it was sobbing on the floor she’d bathe and cuddle it. This would lift the curse from the lindorm and it would turn into a beautiful prince.

So there you have it, a BDSM snakesnake.

Guys norse folklore is wild ok. 

Isn’t part of the tale also that the lindorm has like, several layers of skin, and so the woman would dress in like, an insane amount of skirts? Leading to a lenghty sequence of “I’ll remove a layer if you do”?

Yes!!!! Which makes this whole thing even better TBH.
