Husband, two hours later: Okay, I have a three page list of astronauts, artists, athletes, politicians, saints, businesswomen, revolutionaries, and more, and we’re not even scratching the surface. I gotta stop here or I’ll keep going forever.
Seriously, my knowledge of kickass women comes from feminists on the internet passing around stories. Don’t underestimate the power of oral tradition. School taught me about the world, other women taught me about my place in it.
