i can’t fucking believe i live in a fucking time period where some gays can be “wholesome & chill” about their sexual identity. congratulations for leaving the rest of us queer folk out in the cold, and then calling us “bitter” about it. i am political because I LIVE IN A CONSTANT STATE OF FEAR, and i would like to be safe sometime in the future. how much fucking privilege do you have to have to be “naturally gay”??!!!??! when me just existing and refusing to kill myself is a political statement?! i mean, i would like to just be myself, present as nonbinary in public, and have brunch with my queer lover in an outdoor cafe, and meanwhile everyone walking past is just “ that’s some natural, organic queer.” that would just make my day. just chilling at the Farmer’s market, with all the other organics, every weekend, instead of fighting for my right to piss in public. yup. really would love that.
