… in conclusion, people making Clark Kent 10 or more years younger than Bruce Wayne is weird and reductive because one of the best things about their superhero partnership is the contrast in Clark’s borderline naive optimism and Bruce’s eternally depressing pessimism. Their differences highlight their similarities and make their relationship interesting. But the energy is sapped from it if you make Clark way younger and therefore comparatively naive or try to argue that Batman’s cynicism stems from his greater experience/age because that is untrue and misrepresentative of both characters.
… in conclusion the Babysitter’s Club of the acclaimed Babysitter’s Club novels, being an organization for professionals, qualifies it as a worker’s union.
