Proud of my curves ♥️ If you discount my hearing aids, my crutches and my wheelchair as they’re only aids, then the only ‘visible’ part of my disability is my #scoliosis. It developed when I was 12 and since then has pained me daily, whether from its constant ache or the stabbing pains it occasionally likes to rip through me. But in all honesty I often forget it’s a ‘thing’! I forget that it exists because it is just my everyday. It doesn’t seem so strange that that there are some dresses I cannot wear because they zip on the left side and that’s the side my little lower back hump is on (the right of this picture is the non-mirrored me!)… that’s just my body 🤷‍♀️ It’s my own beautiful body and no matter how it pains me, no matter how it looks, I will always love and be thankful for it 💕
