Why does this look so real
i reblog this every time bc it fills me with such visceral dread no matter how many times i watch it

I swear this is real. The camera shakes way too naturally, and the shot lingers way too long. Someone source this before I freak out.
this is real, but its a manipulation of a pre-existing video. I can’t find it now, but the original video was just someone (who is obviously not from chicago) recording chicago’s tornado warning sirens that play every 10 am on a tuesday because it freaked them out.
Yeah it’s really easy to fake the whole camera-shaking thing with the fake space ship. You just take existing footage and you do some stabilization, and/or camera tracking. The real impressive thing is the way it’s animated and rendered to look 100% like it’s actually THERE. Real good work.
