To any upcoming freshmen: don’t date seniors

When I was about to start high school, my mom told me that senior boys were grown men, and if any were interested in me then I should ask myself why they, as adults, were interested in a kid right out of middle school. And why they couldn’t get someone their own age.
Be safe, kiddos. A year counts a lot more when you’re younger, and the kind of senior who wants to date a freshman is well aware of this.

this is also true in college. why would an adult about to enter “the real world” who has nearly outgrown their little pond be interested in a baby adult just turned 18 who is in an unfamiliar setting without a solid support system in place yet? it’s predatory.

Honestly, even in middle school we have predatory older boys, usually the boys who failed a year (or two) and end up being 16 in middle school while I have 12, 13, and 14 year old girls falling all over themselves to get noticed by them.

16 year olds who are still in middle school are not the type of boys you want to aspire to be with, and they are every bit as predatory as the other older boys.

Just be careful, young girls.
