Is this the same show with the guy who licks his own poisoned blade & just immediately dies?
Yeah. It’s called Yūsha Yoshihiko, or The Hero Yoshihiko.
Thanks & reblogging answer so others can also look it up.

Kaitlin Olson on Danny Devito (x)
god I LOVE HIM
Danny Devito took care of Mara Wilson when her mom died while filming Matilda. He babysat her when her parents had to go to the hospital and was there for her after she passed. On all accounts, Danny Devito is the person you want in your life
Danny Devito is basically the Complete Opposite of all the characters he’s ever played because in real life he’s the Most Wholesome and Lovely Dude Ever and is Full of Empathy and Goodness <3

The sky when it snows is absolutely perfect. It can be 1 o’clock in the morning and bright outside. The silence of everything when it snows is beautiful. You can barely hear a sound when the snow covers everything. Just watching the snow fall and stick to the ground is beautiful. Yeah I guess it sucks that it’s cold and you have to shovel it out, but coming in from the cold and putting on warm clothes, sitting in the heat, and drinking hot chocolate is so relaxing. I miss the snow so much.

timdrakeothy: hot take: ‘chivalry’ is
Nov. 25th, 2018 07:05 pmvia https://ift.tt/2r5Noew
timdrakeothy:
hot take: ‘chivalry’ is fine as long as it’s adapted to 21st century values. if you are a male, you SHOULD be aware that your female friends face certain issues that you as a male dont. acting on that awareness in a way that keeps your female friends safe, isn’t a bad thing.
like… opening doors isn’t rly chivalrous when it’s just a thing you ought to do for everyone. but real 21st century chivalry might be, like, standing between your female friend and the guy that’s trying to get her drunk, or offering to walk her home when it’s late.
if the ‘chivalry’ inconveniences everyone involved and you’re just doing it for your over-inflated male ego — ie, “no you’re the girl here, you HAVE to let me hold this door for you and do all these things for you even when you can do it yourself and im just slowing you down” — then it’s just outdated misogyny.
